Attention Brotherhood-Eligible Members:
When you completed your Ordeal, you were reminded that you had only finished the first part of your Induction into the Order of the Arrow. Now is the time for you to complete that induction. We invite you to seal your membership in the Order by completing your Brotherhood.
The event will consist of fellowship, trainings, competitions and fun! For the Brotherhood Candidates the event will also include Brotherhood Counseling, a Brotherhood Hike and finally the Brotherhood ceremony. There is an option for Brotherhood Candidates to only come out on Saturday during the afternoon. More information about scheduling will be released in the future.
Note that the Brotherhood hike will be outdoors and will last about 45 minutes. The ceremony itself will also be outdoors, weather permitting. Please dress accordingly.
Unlike your Ordeal, the requirements to complete your Brotherhood are not physical, but instead will take some time and contemplation. The requirements for Brotherhood may be found in your OA Handbook. The very best resource to help you prepare is the OA Jumpstart web site at http://jumpstart.oa-bsa.org (hint: obligation). At the web site, click around to all of the links, not just the “Brotherhood” links – there is important information throughout the site.
Remember: this will be your last opportunity to earn Brotherhood in 2024!
Event Details
- Friday-Sunday, November 8-10, 2024 from 6:00 p.m. to approximately 10:00 a.m.
- A more comprehensive schedule, including registration will be made available at a later date.

- Brotherhood Candidate is $40.00 which includes a new Brotherhood sash!
- Brotherhood DAY ONLY Candidate is $25, which includes a new Brotherhood Sash
- General Member is $15
For planning purposes, registration is fully closed at 6:00 p.m. on November 6, 2024.
All participants must bring a COPY of their health form (Parts A and B) to be submitted at check-in. Per State law, health forms will not be returned.
